BREXIT Preparations

It is impossible to forecast the actual situation UK businesses will face in January 2021. We have planned for the worst case, whilst hoping for the best.

Our priority is to ensure that we can service you, our customers, in the event that no agreement is reached with the EU, causing problems with the import and export of raw materials and finished products.

Our BREXIT preparations include;

  • Increased supply of raw materials scheduled to arrive at UK ports in quarter 4 of 2020, ahead of the 1st January 2021 EU exit deadline.
  • Raw material and paint suppliers have been risk assessed to ensure continuity of supply beyond the initial BREXIT planning period.
  • For our European customers, we are able to pull orders forward for early manufacturing to avoid any potential delays.
  • Setting up storage facilities in the UK and Europe to accommodate the additional stockholding and finished orders.

We are confident that this plan is robust and will see continuity of supply for your projects. If you have any concerns that you would like to raise directly or would like to work with us to support your own BREXIT planning, please email us on brexit@sasint.co.uk
