Antimicrobial Powder Coating is a protective finish which prevents the growth and spread of microbes. Using BioCote® technology, this coating offers long-lasting protection against bacteria, germs and fungi making it especially beneficial to applications which require rigorous hygiene and safety standards such as schools, medical facilities, offices and restaurants.
Invisible to the eye, this coating can be added to any powder coat to provide anti-bacterial properties without affecting the final aesthetics of the finish.

Where the metal ceilings or architectural metalwork need to be enhanced in performance or functionality for certain sectors and environments, SAS can supply non-standard coatings such as anti-microbial coatings for healthcare, or fine textured coatings for pure matte requirements.
SAS Metal ceiling systems are available in a range of standard colours and can be coated in any RAL colour. The vast majority of SAS projects specify white (RAL9010), which is why it has become our standard. In reality, any RAL colour can be specified in Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) to suit project requirements.
In addition to these colours, SAS also offer a host of special effects finishes including but not limited to, special metallic colours and chrome finish polished metal, wood and ceramic effects. Aluminium systems can also be anodised, opening up another range of aesthetic options.
