Allied Irish Bank (AIB) has recently moved into their newly-completed office building at Central Park in Leopardstown. The new building was constructed to accommodate and link more than 500 support staff who have been based in various locations across the city.
SAS International was chosen by RKD architects due to a previous working relationship and collaborative team approach to design and fit-out. SAS delivered 1300m2 of sustainable ceiling solutions to the office space, receptions and breakout areas.
Chosen for its ability to provide a floating raft solution, SAS150 was specified with extruded aluminium edge details. This suspended ceiling system is not only easy to maintain but allows a convenient, hinge down access to the ceiling void.
To combat the noise pollution within the reception area, SAS500 extruded baffles were designed to offer superb acoustic control in AIB’s new office. Chosen for its acoustic performance and striking aesthetic, this system is ideal for large open spaces such as these.
For this project SAS International further designed and supplied bespoke SAS600 floating rafts in the breakout spaces. Specified with a unique OB23 perforation, this system provides acoustic absorption within the communal areas and offers a visually intriguing feature ceiling.
