SAS International designed and supplied 5000m2 of metal ceiling products to the beautiful new offices of Allied Irish Bank, Molesworth Street. Collaborating with RKD Architects & StructureTone, a range of systems including SAS130 square and SAS330 triangular fused mesh panels, SAS330 planks and SAS Tee Grid were supplied to accommodate the open plan office environment, boardroom and breakout areas.
SAS130 Mesh was chosen for its aesthetic and ability to provide Class A acoustic absorption, enhancing a productive working atmosphere ideal for the busy, open plan office.
To overcome a specific challenge with the breakout area on the project, the SAS330 triangular suspended mesh panels were manufactured with fused edge detail. This feature provides a clean finish, in addition to simplifying the installation process.
Chosen for their ability to realise the architect’s vision, SAS International designed highly-engineered panels finished in RAL9005 with a striking gold trim detail achieving a premium aesthetic. Carrying out the installation for this project, subcontractor Platt & Reilly fitted the beautifully-engineered SAS330 Mesh in this office space. This visually outstanding ceiling is an ideal choice to achieve a contemporary design aesthetics for AIB’s new building.
Offering design flexibility and acoustic control, the popular SAS330 was specified for the main office floorplates. SAS330 suspended ceilings provide a clean and bright solution to this office space.
SAS International was chosen for its technical design capabilities and the unrivalled quality of its products. Working in partnership with both the architect and contractors, SAS International delivered a visually-striking geometric mesh ceiling solution.
